The convention center is a huge site, also hosting concerts and major sporting events.
Petco Park is an outdoor stadium built for baseball games. The San Diego Padres play here from April to September. In November, the stadium hosts a series of concerts during America's Cup world sailing championship.
The USS Midway Museum is an aircraft carrier turned museum, with a collection of over 60 planes. It's also home to the Dive bar and restaurant. Other naval ships include the Star of India, which was built in 1863. The Maritime Museum San Diego has exhibits about the maritime history around San Diego Bay.
